Dynamics CRM Assistant, an AI assistant skill published by Breathe IT AS.
Last updated: 27 August 2026
In short: Dynamics CRM Assistant is provided by Breathe IT AS as is, and you use it at your own risk. It acts only with your own Dynamics 365 sign-in and permissions. Breathe IT does not store your data or route it through Breathe IT systems, your data flows directly between your AI client and your own Dataverse environment.
1.Who we are
Dynamics CRM Assistant (the “Skill”) is developed and published by Breathe IT AS, a company registered in Norway and based in Stavern, Norway (“Breathe IT”, “we”, “us”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Skill.
2.Acceptance of these Terms
By granting consent to the “Dynamics CRM Assistant” application in Microsoft Entra ID, or by otherwise using the Skill, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not consent to or use the Skill.
3.What the Skill does
The Skill enables an AI assistant (Anthropic’s Claude) to read from and write to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse environment on your behalf, using natural language. It authenticates as the signed-in user through Microsoft Entra ID using delegated permissions (user_impersonation) and the OAuth 2.0 device code flow. The Skill can therefore only do what the signed-in user is already permitted to do in Dynamics 365.
4.Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Microsoft account and your Dynamics 365 access.
- The Skill operates with your security roles, field-level security and business-unit scope. You remain responsible for any action taken through the Skill, including data created, modified or deleted.
- AI assistants can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming any action, particularly writes, updates and deletions, before and after it is carried out.
- You must use the Skill in compliance with your organisation’s policies and all applicable laws, including data-protection law.
5.Data and privacy
Breathe IT does not collect, store, host or transmit your Dynamics 365 data, and no such data passes through any Breathe IT system or tenant. Authentication tokens are issued by Microsoft directly to the AI client running on your side, and your data flows directly between that client and your own Dataverse environment. Breathe IT’s only role is as the publisher of the Entra ID application identity. See our Privacy Statement for details.
6.Third-party services
The Skill relies on services provided by third parties, including Microsoft (Entra ID and Dynamics 365 / Dataverse) and Anthropic (the Claude AI assistant). Your use of those services is governed by the respective third party’s own terms and privacy policies. Breathe IT is not responsible for the availability, performance, security or content of any third-party service, and a valid licence for those services (for example an Anthropic Claude licence and a Microsoft Dynamics 365 licence) is your responsibility.
7.Provided “as is” - no warranty
The Skill is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Breathe IT does not warrant that the Skill will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI-generated output will be accurate or complete. You use the Skill at your own risk.
8.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Breathe IT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Skill, including any action taken by the AI assistant in your Dynamics 365 environment, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory, even if Breathe IT has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9.Suspension and changes
Breathe IT may modify, suspend or discontinue the Skill, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the version published at this URL is the current one, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Norway shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Skill, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
